    The inability to enject the drive may be a result of a defective USB port. Plug the USB drive into another port, or if possible into a different computer to check if it’s the port or the USB drive is faulty. If the drive works from another location, then it could be the first port is blocked or dirty and needs to be cleaned. The obvious way to do this is to check the port and exclude it from the troubleshooting process in order to avoid going around in circles and fix the issue of flash drive not showing up.
