Seminar One
Saturday, May 25th
(9:00 am – PST)
Medical Qi Gong Therapy is a form of Hands on Healing or ‘Laying of Hands, that also incorporates movement, myofascial release (DaoYin/Tui Na), acupressure (and acupuncture), breathwork, and visualization (co-regulation).
If you are an experienced Qi Gong practitioner or teacher, and feel called to become a traditional Healer, this 2-year (500 hour) course may be what you need.
This course is based on a family system of Dao Yin (ancient Qi Gong practices), Nei Yang Gong (Inner Healing Skills), and Traditional Chinese medicine, that goes back hundreds of years.
To become skillful, while also ensuring that you do not drain your vitality (Qi), you need three attributes of practice.
These attributes are usually taught in stages with some overlap. You will also need to have people (friends and family) to practice on at the beginning. After developing the fundamentals, and cultivating a deep personal practice, you will need to come to Victoria, BC for two full weekend seminars (over 2 years) for some in-person clinical training.
The Three Stages are:
One – Build Your Qi Capacity
Open your Meridians, Dan Tian, and Energy Gateways (Qiao – potent acupoints)
Treat patients, while learning to heal the Six Qi Wounds, Meridian Blockages, Organ Imbalances, Embodied Distress and Latent Trauma.
This program is designed for those with enough Qi Gong experience, and the commitment to learn:
- Several Qi Gong forms
- Inner cultivation methods
- Many forms of breathwork
- The meridian system and about 50 acupoints
- TCM Psychology and Counselling (Qing Zhi Bing)
- Daoist Cosmology and TCM Theory
- The primary Qi Wounds
- The TCM Organ System (Symbolic Physiology)
- Principles of Treatment
- Healing as Inner Cultivation
- Treating Modern Illnesses with Ancient Healing Methods
And much more!
